When you buy a new build home you hope it will be flawless, but due to timelines being rushed and construction problems, finishes and quality are not always the best and this can lead to problems. Having a professional snagging survey ensures defects are identified and remedied before moving in or final payment.
Many builders offer a warranty period of 2 years in which they are responsible for rectifying any defects that are identified in the snagging survey.
A typical snag of a 2 bedroom house may take around 3 to 4 hours or a larger 3 or 4 bedroom house can be 4 to 6 hours or more.
